Surprising appetizer - such simple ingredients with such a great big taste with the added sauce. The filling is potato mostly with peas inside a semi-thick, flaky deep fried wrap. The sauce (the waiter called it a chutney) is mostly coriander/cilantro but not over powering - and a nice saltiness - I was immediately hooked. We were told you could put it on anything and we believe them.
2 for $4 - perfect app for 2 people.

samosa-but is missing peas! chutney looks nice & thick.
it's best when it's about the filling & not too thick a crust. and when they give you chutney & tamarind!
(although i don't alway get them in india because they were said to have been created to use up food that is going south)
