Green Tea Cupcake

BarFry is all about the deep-frying, but the best thing I had there was the green tea cupcake which is one of the few things on the menu not battered and fried.
I have to admit I was a little skeptical; cupcakes are sooo overdone, green tea is overdone, and the combination seemed like overkill. But it was really, really good with a nice crumb, frosting that didn't make my teeth ache, and nice, pronounced green tea flavor.
