French Dip Sandwich

Flatbush Farm - Brooklyn, NY

My association with the french dip sandwich is limited to bad diner experiences of soggy rolls and grey meat. But Flatbush Farm has updated the classic (classically bad) to include tender, flavorful beef, caramelized onions, horseradish, and a firm, sturdy roll to contain it all. There are even greens on the side, something I don't remember ever once seeing on a french dip plate when I was a kid.
