Buticha

Cafe Colucci - Berkeley, CA

I love Ethiopian food, and Cafe Colucci is one of the best places to get it. They offer buticha, a chickpea (sometimes fava bean) mash spiked with chunks of jalapeno and awash with bright lemon juice. I go through twice my fair share of injera scooping up the savory dish and love every last bite of it.
