French Fries

The seasonal, market-driven menu at August means that the offerings change frequently. The quality is consistent, though, and it's hard to go wrong with any of the day's offerings. On my last visit, I shared a bowl of cold tomato soup and a platter of homemade sausages with a side of perfectly done fries. They were delicious on their own, with their crispy exteriors and fluffy insides, but they were made even better with a side of homemade aioli.

I really like this photo. Beyond the fact that it is a very tempting photo of some tasty looking fries is the composition, the simple palette, the negative space, the play of the circles with the boxy design of the fries - Yes! I'm talking about a photo of French Fries... it's very well seen imho.
