Lemon Pancakes
Chop Suey - New York, NY
We recently had breakfast at the oddly-named Chop Suey restaurant in the Renaissance Hotel in Times Square.
The breakfast menu was somewhat pricey, but the items were all very well done. One of the more memorable items was the above-pictured lemon pancakes.
These were some very, very good pancakes, with a nice firmness, a good crisp, and just enough lemon flavor to give it the same sort of lemon note that you get with a nice lemon chiffon cake.
Unique (only other time I recall having similar pancakes is at Hell's Kitchen restaurant in Minneapolis). Definitely worth having

Sounds very good - the syrup delivery system is interesting! If that's whipped butter on the 'cakes, what's in the square container?
It's actually ricotta cheese on the cakes (extra butter in the container).
It also came with both a blueberry spread and maple syrup.
