Chicken Mole

I don't know if the food at Bonita is the most authentic Mexican food around, but it is delicious in any case. It moves away from the predictable Tex-Mex approach and offers hearty, soulful food like chicken mole in a complex, savory sauce.
I've had lovely fish dishes there as well as fried plantains, albondigas in lip-smacking tomato sauce, and a delicious ginger julep, perfect for summer.
