Shrimp and Grits, appetizer

We've eaten here twice and have been very impressed both times with everything - service, atmosphere, apps to entrees to deserts.
This is their shrimp and grits app. and it is as colorful on the palette as it is in the photo. The andouille has a lot of character - not an off the shelf product, deeper and richer than that. The country ham adds a nice salty punch on occasion and is nicely balanced with the sweet from the tomatoes. The grits are very creamy and the broth has a nice, but subtle spice. Wines are decently priced and the staff knows their foods and are happy to talk about it at length - a great dinner.
