"Doman-naka Bento" the Beef lunch(牛肉どまんなか弁当)
Shin-Kineya - Yamagata Prefecture, Japan
This is a station-lunch in Japan. "Doman-naka" is one of the station lunches sold at Yonezawa Station. This lunch won a prize by the national station lunch contest. It is salty(soy sauce)-sweet, and, on rice, slice of the beef.
The station lunch excites a sentiment for Japanese.

Would you eat here again?

I like your location for this shot - outside - not typical for food shots, works great - thx for taking the time! It's also great to hear some of the details of the station-lunch, very interesting :)
There is a custom to look at cherry blossoms to call "flower viewing(Hana-mi)" in Japan. The flower viewing tends congenial friends drink liquor under the cherry tree, and to eat a dish.
In the case of this photograph, I bought a station lunch in morning and took it in the park.
