Wild Strawberry Shortcake

Slightly North of Broad - Charleston, SC

Lovely Strawberry shortcake, the cake itself was dense and had a great vanilla flavor. The syrup that the berries were marinated in I thought were too overly sweet, but a refreshing dessert none the less.
