Pork Ribs

Alan & Sons - Durham, NC

Lunch special at Alan & Sons. Pork ribs, warm potato salad, pinto beans, hush puppies and a side salad. The ribs are what A&S are known for and they were big and meaty, moist and tender. You could taste the fire and wood smoke (hickory).
The potato salad didn't sound all that great when it was described to me but it was also very good - a mix of soft, mashed potatoes with chunks and some cream added too. Beans were very satisfying. Great lunch.
