BLT

Tuckerbox - White River Junction, VT

My BLT from the Tuckerbox in White River Junction.

In the space of a week, two different people told me that I had to go to the Tuckerbox and try their BLT, since it was the "Best BLT Ever!".

I'll have to admit, this was one fine BLT, with everything really working for it. The bacon was extra thick cut and perfectly cooked (tender in the middle, crunchy at the edges, no burnt bits). The tomato was fresh and not soggy. The lettuce nicely leafed. The mayonnaise not overly thick. And the bread well buttered and toasted.

Best in the UV? Probably.

Best ever? Not yet. But in the running. :)

  That bread looks like perfect BLT making bread. BLTs - so simple and yet so powerful - God love 'em!
