Jumbo Char Dog
Gold Coast Dogs - Chicago, IL
A quick layover at Chicago Midway is nice, since I can score some decent Chicago Dogs.
This time I did Gold Coast. It's not as good a Chicago Dog as the Superdawg down in the B concourse, but it's good enough.
They do get bonus points for two things:
1. The dog has a nice char on it. Mostly I like steamed Chicago Dogs, but every once in a while a char dog is good.
2. They sell jars of Sport Peppers. I love these as a condiment, and they are ridiculously hard to get in New England. But it was nice to be able to get a jar of real Vienna sport peppers for a mere $4.
