curry udon & takoyaki
Otafuku-Tei in mitsuwa japanese marketplace - Arlington Heights, IL
fabulous japanese mall & food court outside of chicago. this is curry udon, usually only found in japan. it is very similar to beef stew with a kick. $4. and takoyaki-native to osaka, japan, these are soft rice balls stuffed with octopus topped with a sweet brown sauce & dried bonito flakes. $3. a serious bargain.
